Canadian Army Recruitment Problems

The Canadian authorities intend to increase the possible of their own armed forces, which has been prepared for the corresponding increase in backing over the following years. However, if the introduction of fresh weapons systems, e.g. in replacement of the fleet of CF-18 aircraft – as planned in 2017, seems to be a reasonably simple procedure, more doubts arise around the army's size. Above all, due to the fact that many questions are raised in the public debate in Canada, whether this country has not entered a period of crisis in recruiting future soldiers.
