U.S. president Donald Trump nominated 74-year-old erstwhile head of the CKE Restaurants group, Andrew Puzder, as a permanent typical of the United States to the European Union.
I am pleased to announce that Andrew F. Puzder will be the next United States Ambassador to the European Union. Andy is simply a successful lawyer, businessman, economical commentator – wrote Donald Trump on his actual Social platform.
As he added, Puzder as CEO led the company out of serious financial difficulties. Andy will do an excellent occupation representing our country in this crucial region – stated the president of the United States.
Serious issues in Pozder's hands
In 2017, Andrew Puzder was nominated by Donald Trump as head of the Labour Department, nevertheless he withdrew from this nomination due to allegations of employing illegal immigrants, ill-treatment of workers and home violence.
There are many issues in which Andrew Puzder, if approved by the Senate, will be involved. These include Russia's war in Ukraine and military assistance to Ukraine, convincing European allies to increase defence spending, supporting right-wing governments in Europe, and Trump's withdrawal from key global organisations, including the planet wellness Organisation and the Paris Agreement on Climate Change.

Trump nominated Pozder the day after he announced the imposition of duties on the European Union.
