Germany reported NATO an estimated amount of defence spending in 2024, amounting to EUR 90.6 billion. This sum corresponds to a contribution to the projected GDP of the country of 2.12% and thus Berlin exceeds the Alliance's request to allocate at least 2% of GDP to this purpose.
