Bulgarian Parliament yet agrees to acquisition F-16

The Bulgarian parliament yet adopted an agreement on Friday to acquisition 8 F-16 Block 70 fighters in the US. The contract is worth 2.2 billion lions (1.29 billion dollars). The first aircraft will be delivered in 2027. The government besides plans to buy or rent machines that will replace MiG-i 29 until the first F-16 is delivered. Russian fighters are to be decommissioned in 2023.
