Prime Minister Rumen Radew announced approval of the investment task for 5 additional IRIS-T anti-aircraft kits, and the government directed the updated plan to parliament. The full cost of both stages of the programme – the already contracted strategy and 5 more – amounts to around EUR 1.1 billion and is to be financed by the EU SAFE instrument.
