Sławomir Mentzen, address in the Sejm on behalf of the Confederation. Request for cancellation of Deputy Marshal of the Polish Parliament Mr Krzysztof Bosak, 17 January 2024.

– It is profoundly doubtful that a coalition with democracy, parliamentaryism, respect for minorities on the banners wants to lead to a situation where the opposition will have no typical in the Bureau of the Sejm!

At the request of the Left, you are trying to apply collective work here. You know well that Krzysztof Bosak has done nothing to justify removing him from the Bureau of the Sejm. There are not many Members in this Chamber who match his individual culture, his ability to debate or to have a conversation. Krzysztof Bosak is excellent for this position and you know it.

You're not talking about Bosak's behavior, due to the fact that you can't blame him for anything – you're talking about the Confederate. In quite a few things, you're different, but in this one, you talk with 1 voice. You want we weren't here to disappear, preferably with all our voters! You are building a strategy in which we are a breach, we are a mistake in this strategy that you would like to destruct as shortly as possible.

I'm aware and I have no illusions of advanced levels of hypocrisy in this room, but even for you, you're trying to do something truly spectacular. You request the separation of the church from the state, and then you support the organisation of the Hanukkah Seyma in Poland! You are demanding the removal of images of spiritual feelings from the penal code, after which you are greatly upset that individual has offended these spiritual feelings! At the same time, you are not disturbed by the behaviour of Joanna Scheering-Wielgus, who has disrupted the Holy Mass. You legitimized attacks on churches in the fall of 2020.
I stood here, not far away, in the Square of the 3 Crosses, under St. Alexander's Church, erstwhile an aggressive and vulgar crowd threw bottles, stones at us, insulted us and our religion as vulgarly as possible. Until now, there's red paint on the church wall. Your Members participated in these protests, supported them, and yet no of you lost the position of Deputy Marshal.

This is your tolerance, your spiritual sensitivity in practice! Catholics can be insulted, humiliated, insulted, thrown distant beyond the brackets of public debate, but if individual – of course in the incorrect way – offends someone's spiritual feelings, this is comparable here to the worst crimes and is to be punished as unprecedentedly as possible! Unless it's not about insulting spiritual feelings, it's about physical assault on a woman, but violating the physical integrity of that woman was much little than violating the physical integrity of Robert Biedron's mother, who is inactive your leader.

No 1 should have any doubts about it, and everyone knows that the Left is full of detached, deluded hypocrites. Since russian times, at least the left has specialized in applying collective responsibility, in punishing for views, in violating all possible norms and principles. However, I am amazed at the attitude of Marshal Simon Holownia, who tried to force Marshal Krzysztof Bosak to participate in Hanuka! He tried to force him to participate in a spiritual ceremony, which was surely not a believer by Krzysztof Bosak, arguing that this would aid him to keep his position. Guys! Do we truly have those standards here? If, in your erstwhile term, Marshal Witek said that Vladimir Czarzasty had to go to Mass to become Deputy Marshal, we would have a scandal all over the world! And for you this kind of conduct does not origin any problems!

This case is courteous on all level possible. Seriously, colleagues of Łukasz Meyza, Roman Giertych, Włodzimierz Karpiński, Stanisław Gawłowski, in order not to mention further, think that the club should be deprived of the deputy marshal simply due to the fact that 1 of the members of this club may someday be convicted by the court? And look at the rank of these possible crimes!
Grzegorz Braun is facing a maximum of 2-3 years for these actions.
Stanisław Gawłowski is facing 12 years in prison.
Vladimir Karpinski, who has just been in custody, but is now in Europarlamenta, is besides facing 12 years. But if he had committed that act now, after changing the rules, it would have been 20 years in prison!
On the 1 hand we have 2-3 years maximum, on the another 12-20. Don't you see a certain imbalance?

Do better to fulfill your electoral promises, due to the fact that you do not do so very well, alternatively of exterminateing the only normal, non-total opposition of the organization who tries to carry out average parliamentary work here, and whose typical and typical of her 1.5 million voters in the Sejm Bureau is Krzysztof Bosak.
