The contract was signed this spring. The work will be carried out in Ukraine due to the signed [a autumn of last year framework agreement](https://defence24.pl/war-na-ukrainie-report-special-defence24/light-haubice-beda-renovated-and-produced-on-Ukraine) on cooperation in repair, production/supply of spare parts and production of fresh Haubice L119 between BAE Systems and the Ukrainian defence ministry. This agreement will keep the efficiency of at least 54 lightweight towed haubic L118/119 transmitted by Britain. Due to the proximity of the construction, it may besides be possible to service 72 haubic M119 delivered by the USA. The launch of the local service may in the future consequence in the creation of an artillery plant in Ukraine.
