Woman’s Trust based in WESTMINISTER is simply a charity supporting women who have experienced home violence, in rebuilding their lives through specialized counseling, therapeutic support groups and psychoeducation workshops. Since its foundation in 1996, it has helped over 19,600 women throughout London – face-to-face in venues in Westminster, Hammersmith & Fulham, Newham, Hackney and Tower Hamlets, as well as via online communication.
As the survey of crime in England and Wales estimates that 1.4 million women experienced home force in the year ending March 2023, Woman’s Trust could never have been more important.
When women first come to Woman’s Trust, they study the serious impact of force trauma on intellectual wellness – 48% study depression; 21% self-harm; and 37% study suicidal thoughts. It is crucial to aid women improve their intellectual health, autonomy, self-care and healthier relationships.
Woman’s Trust provides women with up to 18 free trauma counseling sessions, allowing them to share their experiences and be heard without judging. Women begin to see themselves in a full fresh light and make affirmative changes in their lives:

A £10,000 grant from London Freemasons Charity will aid fund this essential service for women throughout London.
Woman’s Trust besides offers therapeutic support groups and workshops that let women to make contact with another people who have akin experience, helping them get out of isolation due to violence.
