Brazilian attack on democracy

On Sunday, supporters of erstwhile Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro entered government buildings in the country's capital. The current president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva called the demonstrators "fascists" committed in Brasilia "barbaric". Both politicians, whose many months of contention led to clashes in the capital of the most populous South American country, faced corruption charges in the past. The images that were recorded match those we could see at the time of Donald Trump's attack on the Capitol of 6 January 2021.
