The election run for Europarlament brought 1 of the more interesting political confrontations this year. This is the current Deputy Minister of abroad Affairs, Andrzej Szejna from the club Nowa Lewica, challenged the president of the Confederation of the Polish Crown, Grzegorz Braun, to the debate at the Kraków club “Under Lizards”.

The debate will be devoted to the future of Poland in the European Union. And there will undoubtedly be 2 utmost visions for each other, due to the fact that the left is known for calling for the federalization of Europe, not to say that even the dilution of the Old Continent national states in the EU structures. The members of the Confederation, on the another hand, show a large deal of scepticism towards a course that has long since chosen EU integration. And here, in particular, the activists of the Crown party, chaired by Grzegorz Braun, talk straight about #PolExit, or Poland's exit from the EU, while pointing out that the United Kingdom has late made specified a choice and this process has successfully been carried out.

Thus, in Braun's debate with Szejna we can anticipate a worldview clash, which besides divides more and more Poles. Although voters inactive overwhelmingly support our country's membership in the EU, more and more people believe that a improvement is needed to give Poland a greater level of sovereignty so that, for example, EU law does not become above Polish law.

This is primarily about the controversial Green Deal, against which farmers have been protesting for months, the EPBD directive on fresh energy characteristics of buildings or energy transformation, leading to closure of mines and a crucial increase in electricity prices.

These are, of course, only any of the issues that can be the axis of disagreement between candidates for Europarlamento, which are besides shared by the ideological background, due to the fact that this will be a classical clash between the left and the right, where there will undoubtedly besides be issues of identity, religion and morals.
