Krzysztof Bosak on 3 September 2026 requested the Polish MFA to intervene after the return of Dr. Michał Siekierki at the border of Ukraine. An IPN worker was going to the ceremony of 55 Polish victims of the Volyn crime. According to his report, only during the audit did he learn about the three-year entry ban in force since 2023.
Conference in the Sejm
Deputy Marshal of the Sejm called on the Ministry of abroad Affairs to find the reasons for Ukrainian services' decisions. The conference was besides attended by Andrzej Zapalowski, Michał Siekierka and Paweł Zdziarski from the Association “Community and Memory”. Bosak announced a written and telephone intervention in the Ministry of abroad Affairs.
The axe reported that on August 30 it was removed from the coach at the Dorohusk-Ja hours crossing. He claims that the refusal was based on a decision by the safety Service of Ukraine, but did not receive any justification or prior notification. Historian wasn't legally convicted of a crime.
The destination was burial of remains of 55 victims found in Ostrówków and Wola Ostrowiecka. There were 26 children buried among them. IPN has already spoken to the Ukrainian Ambassador to state the author and the legal basis for the prohibition.
