General Igor Kirillov, Russian commander of radiochemical and biological safety troops, died in Moscow on Tuesday. His assistant died with him. The detonation took place in front of a residential building on Prospekt Riazański, or in the south-eastern part of the capital of Russia. As determined by the Russian service, the bomb was hidden in an electrical scooter. The blast force matched 200 grams of TNT.

According to Russian media, investigators and forensics experts are presently conducting a detailed investigation at the scene. No information has yet been provided on the suspects or motives of the perpetrators.
