President of the Republic of Poland sent a letter to the Chancellery of the Sejm on "explaining the circumstances of formal candidacy" by Maciej Berk for the position of justice of the TK – said KPRP head Zbigniew Bogucki. He assessed that there were "giant doubts" as to whether Berek had a 10-year stint of legal counsel.
This evening, the head of the presidential law firm Zbigniew Bogucki reported in Polsat News that he had signed a letter addressed to the talker of the Sejm of Vladimir Czarzast with questions about "explaining the circumstances of formal candidacy" Berk as a justice of the TK. As he said, the letter has already been sent to the Chancellery of the Sejm.
According to Zbigniew Bogucki, "there are immense doubts as to whether Minister Berek has a ten-year stint of legal counsel".
– This needs to be explained, you cannot trust on statements and saying that everything is fine," he added.
Zbigniew Bogucki noted that if Berek did not meet the formal requirements, then “this procedure should not start and could not be voted on”.
– If [these doubts – PAP) are confirmed, we are dealing with a serious violation of the Constitution," he said.
