Bodnar appointed a fresh president of the Court of Appeal in Gdańsk

Minister of Justice Adam Bodnar appointed justice Sławomir Steinborn as president of the Court of Appeal in Gdańsk. The fresh president will take office on 21 March and will replace justice Adam Lesiak. An experienced lawyer and lecturer Sławomir Steinborn is simply a recognized expert in criminal law and criminal procedure. He graduated from the University of Gdańsk in 1999 and defended his doctorate 5 years later. In 2012, he obtained habilitation and became an extraordinary prof. at the Department of Criminal Process Law and Criminals at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the UG. The justice of the Court of Appeal in Gdańsk was appointed president of the Republic of Poland in 2016. He is besides a National lecturer
