Błaszczak: We ordered 116 Abrams in the older version under very preferential conditions

According to the Minister of Defence Mariusz Błaszczak on the occasion of the arrival of the first 7 Abrams vehicles for training, the acquisition of 116 additional tanks of the "older version" is for Poland the cost only of their maintenance and spare parts package. U.S. tanks utilized will be - "they were filling gaps created after the equipment was donated to Ukraine" - as the minister explains.
