The number of Russian drones sent to the Kursk Oblast is now so large that Ukrainians were forced to take additional countermeasures. In addition to electronic combat systems, kamikaze drones were peculiarly useful in eliminating threats. Ukrainian unmanned operators began a circumstantial hunt for Russian, unmanned flying cameras, dropping ram attacks, not only large, unmanned aircraft (such as Zala or Orlan) but even tiny quadrocopters.
