Great protest in Prague

At the oath of the fresh president I noticed only a fewer Czech flags, it was March 9.

Today in Wenceslas Square in Prague, however, there were many, many flags, due to the fact that the name of the manifestation organized by the extra-parliamentary PRO organization (Law, respect, expertise) contained the expression of the Czech Republic, the full name of today's manifestation: the Czech Republic against poverty. Wenceslas Square is filled completely, the media writes about “thousands” of people. At first, the organizer asked those who had come to support Russia – he was answered NO, whether they could support Putin – the assembled again assured that they did not, but the question whether they had come to intercede for the Czech Republic was answered with loud applause and shouts, that so.

It was rather a loud anti-government assembly, where the harsh criticism of current and erstwhile power sounded. erstwhile in relation to covid, present in connection with expensive, pro-Ukrainian and pro-American policies, from the mouth of the main spokesperson and the head of the PRO organization Jindřicha Raichla it sounded to the authorities of the ultimatum – if our demands are not met by Easter, on 16 April we show again, block government buildings and organize a general strike. Pro organization demonstrators demand, first of all, that the government resigns, and want to reverse politics to guarantee the sovereignty and prosperity of the Czech Republic.

An interesting phenomenon is that the organization was built mainly by practicing lawyers, advocates, and today’s demonstration among the speakers was seen by the advantage of lawyers. This is about lawyers whom covid has mobilized – namely the illegal steps of the erstwhile government in connection with various restrictions and prohibitions. This kind of rebellion of lawyers has its continuation and now, but this time it is already about the complete orientation of the Czech Republic – the PRO organization program covers all areas – from wellness policy, through energy, abroad policy to combat censorship, freedom of speech. All these topics were raised at the demonstration in Prague. It is worth noting that among those who made speeches was 1 of the alleged student leaders of the 1989 Velvet Revolution, an elite investigative writer associated with covid with mainstream or erstwhile head of the ballet scene of the National Theatre in Prague, i.e. the most not accidental, no "holota" or frustra.

In fresh polls, the PRO organization – a fresh entity – is already approaching the 5 percent threshold. Sunday's Prague manifestation is definitely a turnout success. Acute rhetoric goes to the part of the electorate, which is presently not represented in the parliament at all (about 30 percent of voters, whose votes in the last election just disappeared).
