Big fines for Apple and Meta. Gawkowski: we saw that the regulations were being violated

On Wednesday, April 23, the European Commission made a decision on the compliance of Apple and Meta with the [Digital Markets Act](https://cyberdefence24.pl/polityka-i-prawo/kolejne-zmiany-w-google-przyczyna-akt-o-rynkach-cyfrowych) (DMA). The proceedings showed that the **giants violated the provisions of the regulations, as a consequence of which it was decided to impose advanced fines** - the company founded by Steve Jobs must pay 500 million euros (PLN 2.14 billion in terms of conversion), while the owner of Facebook and Instagram - 200 million euros (PLN 856 million).
