The hit and puncture of tank armour of the T-64/72/80/90 and derivatives series frequently results in the detonation of ammunition for the main weaponry, ending with the breaking of the tower. It's even said the "syndrom of a flying tower" of Russian wagons. However, the Ukrainian 93th Mechanized Brigade destroyed the T-90, whose detonation was much larger than typical. Why?
