A fewer twelve trees needed
City activist Jan Mecwel agrees with Magda Biejat: “Ten task in the form of the PiS will gotta cut down respective twelve (!) adult trees in the Saski Garden. De facto take the full 4th of the park. And why the hurry of Minister Sienkiewicz?” he wrote with clear outrage on X. Should the government's coalition quit a "green" policy in this case in order to accomplish a goal that is not of large interest and support to the people of the capital?

Tomasz Bartkowski of the Civic Platform counterrguments: "The argument with the tenement houses is populist. You might as well say that for the equivalent of your monthly wage you could buy dinners for over 200 needy children. Does that mean you gotta cut your salary? I don't think so.“ He wrote on social media.

Let us remind that the decision to rebuild the Saski Palace was made by the Act in 2021, in the Sejm. So far Minister Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz has not withdrawn from this idea. Importantly, note that the Left has joined the Law and Justice as far as critical remarks are made to the Minister of Culture representing the current government. The Law of Law and Justice resented him for taking over power in public media, while the Left made another charge. but in this case, it's ironic that Sienkiewicz and PiS politicians have akin views...
