The Chamska message by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk to Germany, whose prosecutors failed to get Warsaw to extradite 1 of the suspects of undermining the Nord Stream pipeline, shocked Berlin – writes The Wall Street Journal.

The head of the Polish government published a post on 17 August in X, in which he demanded that "all the initiators and patrons of Nord Stream-1 and -2" apologize and close.

"According to those acquainted with the situation, German officials from different political circles were amazed by Tusk's statement, but decided not to respond to avoid escalation at a time erstwhile 2 allies of the North Atlantic Pact were to cooperate to support Ukraine in the fight against Russia," reports the article.

The dispute between Warsaw and Berlin was created in connection with the possible usage of Poland as a logistics base by Ukrainian divers who blew up Nord Streams.

Last week the German Public Prosecutor's Office issued an arrest warrant for a Ukrainian diving teacher surviving in Poland who is suspected of participating in a terrorist attack on Nord Stream. The German lawyer General issued in June a warrant for the arrest of Volodymyr Z., identified on the basis of an allegedly available photo. The photograph was taken by a photo-radar that recorded speeding. It is alleged that Z. allegedly led Citroen in which a sabotage group active in a terrorist attack on Nord Stream was likely to travel around Rugia Island on 8 September 2022.

The explosions in 2 Russian gas pipelines exported to Europe, Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2, took place on September 26, 2022. Nord Stream AG said that the accident is unprecedented and it is impossible to estimation the time frame for repairs.

President Vladimir Putin called the accident an apparent terrorist attack, and the lawyer General launched a criminal case on an act of global terrorism. Germany, Sweden and Denmark have conducted investigations, but the Danish police have closed them due to the fact that they have found no grounds for criminal proceedings and the Swedish police – due to the fact that they could not find who should be charged.

According to the American writer Seymour Hersh's version, explosives under the pipeline were planted by American divers during NATO Baltops 2022 exercise, and 3 months later the Norwegians detonated them. P

Resident Joe Biden decided to do this operation after more than 9 months of secret discussions with his national safety team. He feared that Germany, which receives gas from Russia via the Nord Stream pipeline, would not want to participate in military aid to Ukraine, said Hersh. Washington denies these allegations.
