On Saturday, September 26, during the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in fresh York City, Johann Wadephul (chief of the German MFA) unexpectedly met Sergei Lawrow, his Russian counterpart. According to the Russian Ministry of abroad Affairs, the German side sought the meeting. After the meeting, Lavrow mocked Germany.
