"The Israeli Prime Minister Binjamin Netanjahu thanked President-elect Donald Trump in a telephone conversation on Wednesday for securing the hostage agreement and ending the suffering of tens of hostages and their families," wrote Netanjahu's office release.
Netanjahu besides agreed to meet Trump in Washington soon. The Communication added that during the talks with Biden, the Israeli Prime Minister "also thanked him for helping release the hostages".
Mediators informed on Wednesday that The Israeli government and Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas reached a ceasefire agreement in Qatar After 15 months of war in the Gaza Strip. The agreement provides for the release of respective twelve hostages held by Hamas and hundreds of Palestinians imprisoned in Israel.
The representatives of Qatar, who was a mediator in talks and Hamas, confirmed the agreement.
