Belvedere: Jubilee 95th birthday of Major Bogusław Nizieński

The celebrations of the 95th birthday of Major Bogusław Nizieński, a soldier of the National Army and National Military Organization, a judge, Chancellor of the Chapter of the Order of the White Eagle and president of the Council for Combatants and Represented Persons took place with the participation of the highest rank of state authorities. The celebrations in Belvedere were attended by veterans of the conflict for independence, as well as Deputy Marshals Małgorzata Gosievska and Ryszard Terlecki.

"For decades, you have been an example for all of us, how wisely and responsibly to service the Republic, and at the same time how crucial it is to keep faithful in this service to the ideals" – she wrote to the Jubilee Marshals of the Sejm Elizabeth Witek in a letter read by Ryszard Terlecki. The Marshal of the Sejm expressed her gratitude for the commitment of Bogusław Nizieński "for years of tireless work for Poland, for building its independence, democracy and social order, for promoting patriotic values".

In another commemorative correspondence - from president Andrzej Duda - the head of state thanked Major Nizieński for his many years of service to Poland and for his cooperation in the Chapter of the Order of the White Eagle. "During all your activity, despite changing ages, you have remained a model of a man who is steadfast, faithful to the most crucial values and infallibly choosing good," wrote president Duda.
