There will be a day about the memory of victims of genocide in Volyn. Ukraine comments

"The Ministry of abroad Affairs of Ukraine evaluates the decision of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland to establish on 11 July the Day of Memory of Victims of the alleged _genocide done by the CNS and UPA in the east territory of the Second Republic as 1 which contradicts the spirit of good neighbourly relations between Ukraine and Poland", the Ukrainian Ministry declares. In his opinion, specified "one-sided steps" do not foster common knowing and reconciliation, on which 2 countries work, among others, within the framework of the Joint Ukrainian-Polish Group on Historical Dialogue, which operates with the engagement of the ministries of culture and institutes of national memory of 2 countries.
