International Olympic Committee (IMC) is going to prohibit men posing as women from participating in women's competitions. A ban to enter into force from 2026 and to apply to all sports. Interestingly, there is no ban on women pretending to be men in men's competitions – it is not necessary.
There'll be a ban for the deviants at the Olympics. According to information provided on Monday by BBC Sport, the global Olympic Committee intends to ban men claiming to be women from participating in women's sports competitions. At present, the ICC does not impose universal qualification rules, but alternatively sets out rules which individual global sports federations (MFs) can guide in developing their own criteria.

Nevertheless, a possible policy change follows a broader trend, including the US president Donald Trump's decree issued in February 2025 prohibiting sex deviants from participating in women's sports in American schools and at the Olympic Games.
