The 3rd Way Wants a referendum
The 3rd Way, unlike the Left, as a centre formation does not want to wage cultural wars or fierce worldview disputes. It so believes that a referendum should be held to guarantee that the public decides whether abortion should be more liberal. Prime Minister Donald Tusk has already referred to the case in a fresh interview with 3 major tv stations in Poland: TVP, Polsatu, TVN:
– Simon Holovnia and Władysław Kosiniak-Kamish did not hide that they had a different view of the matter. Anyone who voted for the Polish People's organization or Poland2050 could have no uncertainty that on abortion they were supporters of the alleged compromise and later referendum. No 1 had any uncertainty that in the case of the Civic Coalition the task was a legal and safe abortion until Week 12. said Donald Tusk.
There may be a problem with liberalisation of abortion – the Prime Minister's words
KO leader besides added:
– Since I did not persuade the marshal and deputy prime minister to accept the KO project, we will effort to vote it out in the Sejm. Will there be a majority vote for that? If the 3rd Way doesn't change his mind, most likely not. said the Prime Minister.
Already in November last year, 1 of the leaders of the Left Włodzimierz Czarzasty did not beat around the bush at RMF FM during a conversation with Robert Mazurek:
– Abortion issues, worldview issues, will be realized erstwhile the Left will have a stronger representation in the Sejm said Włodzimierz Czarzasty in the Morning interview at RMF FM. He admitted that there are 2 parties that torpedo the change of regulations on this issue – Poland 2050 and PSL.
Czarzasty pointed out that abortion was not included in coalition arrangements, he added: We are a organization who believes that the right of a female to abortion by week 12 is simply a right that she has the right to decide completely. Since we have taken so many percent of the vote, we do not have adequate force to push through the issue of Week 12 and this bill. The bill will be filed, any will vote from the ruling parties for it, others will not.
Transmission to the voters of the government coalition
Black guy made it clear in RMF FM:
I so appeal, I say, I do it without arrogance, I say it very politely and remotely, to all those who technically voted for different parties for different reasons. Ladies and gentlemen, you voted for another parties, and rightly so, due to the fact that they are opposition parties, but there are consequences. The consequence is, for example, that abortion in this Parliament, in my opinion, will not pass said the Black One.
