“Maybe he has the goal of wanting individual to make gigantic money?” Zbigniew Ziobro asked during a press conference in front of the Museum of Modern Art. The erstwhile Minister of Justice pointed to possible irregularities related to the construction of a fresh museum facility in Warsaw. He compared it to a museum that was built in Budapest.
Zbigniew Ziobro and Sebastian Kaleta organized a press conference in front of the Museum of Modern Art.
We're serious about announcing specified a competition with the lice and the fact that we're looking for the object that was most overpaid for a square meter. And besides, it's an expression of exceptional ugliness. Out of specified projects from all over the planet we want to do a competition. We wonder if Mr. Trzaskowski can be a leader in something and overtake others, can stand on the podium
– he said.
Ziobro then presented a board with a image of the museum, which was created in Budapest. It is simply a fresh building of the Ethnographic Museum in the capital of Hungary.
Budapest, which is different, is associated with the museum. You see the museum building. This is the museum that was being built, specified a misfortune was Mr. Trzaskowski, precisely at the time erstwhile this barracks was built behind us. You see an highly complex structure. Sixty percent of its surface is underground, forty percent above the ground. Glass, steel structures, very costly museum. (...) This building in Budapest was awarded in the world's most prestigious architectural competitions, including Cannes in 2018, London in 2017 and in another competition in 2022, as the most beautiful, most prestigious architectural object among the large objects that are created worldwide. The question to Mr. Trzaskowski, why, erstwhile this was happening, did he not aspire with this task and with this barracks, to these prestigious competitions?
– asked Ziobro.
It turns out that the awesome building from Budapest is twice as costly for a square metre compared to Warsaw.
Or is it due to the fact that Mr Trzaskowski knows that he is building a barracks and may have a different, hidden intent than beauty, functionality and building the prestige of Warsaw? possibly he's got a point he wants individual to make giant money. In short, individual bargain giant money? I don't know, but I do know that the cost of this very complicated, modern building per square metre is twice as much as the cost of building this barracks behind us. How do I explain this? There's no rational explanation for that. No 1 who uses reason can explain. This will not be explained by Trzaskowski.
He said.
We have the right, or even the obligation, to ask questions about who earned on this facility, what were the criteria for the money that was invested here, and we promise to explain it.
– he added.
Scandalous Actions
Sebastian Kaleta pointed out not only the immense cost and dubious visual value of the Warsaw facility, but besides the issue of the Museum's transmission.
This is where absurdities and matters accumulate, which should be thoroughly explained by the applicable authorities, due to the fact that Warsaw under the regulation of Rafał Trzaskowski spends money on the power of incomprehensible investments or scaled investments that do not service anyone. We are in front of this barracks, supposedly the Museum of Modern Art for 700 million, which shines waste. What do you see in it? You can see comic books that encourage children to change their sex
Sebastian Kaleta convinced.
