The tiny street of Faubourg Montmartre, of a non-tourist character, does not let 1 to know that behind the glass doors of 1 of the tenement houses there is an different exhibition. In the erstwhile parking lot, the “Banksy Museum” was arranged. Its beginnings date back to 2019. First, it was to be a temporary exhibition, but the planet of Banks was so successful that the organizers decided to arrange it permanently. On the natural concrete walls there are graffitis known and little known, divided by the location in which they were created. So first we visit America, where, next to the household England, Banksy is the most works of the artist, then we go to Paris, Israel, Ukraine and yet England. On subsequent surfaces imitating scratched walls, dark alleys or back door we find, among others, a celebrated girl with a balloon, kissing British policemen, working in honor of the victims of Bataclan, Freedom, equality, cable tv – modification Napoleon crossing the Alps Jacques-Louis David or works from the West Bank of Jordan. The celebrated rats of the artist could not miss: masked and armed with a wallpaper knife, which was built other the Centre Pompidou in Paris in 2018, Champagne rat – flying on champagne traffic or created in Los Angeles Out of bed rat (with description I’m out of bed and dressed – what more do you want? – I got out of bed and dressed – what more do you want?).
The organizers besides recreated a fragment of the grim, immense wall separating Israel from the West Bank of Jordan, on which we find graffiti created there, specified as Peace Dove – a dove of the area in a bulletproof vest, aimed at by a sniper, Girl frisking Soldier, that is simply a girl reviewing a soldier or an iconic Flower Thrower – a masked man throwing a bouquet of flowers in a distinctive pose. The exhibition besides featured works known from war-torn Ukraine, including a gymnast balancing on ruins or a female in a gas mask and with a fire extinguisher...
