The thought was reported by Colonel Donald Brooks, commander of the 1st Space Brigade of the US Army during this year's Associated of the US Army conference. This unit does not belong to the US Space Force. It is intended to supply support straight to the U.S. land military and to them is subordinate, to alert them against ballistic missiles, to supply situational awareness as regards the situation in space, and to support space domain-related operations – offensive and defensive.
