You could say, as he announced, he did. The draft of the first bill tabled for the session of Parliament of the 10th term, namely the bill allowing the killing of children to 12, and even as any Members of the Parliament have advocated, up to 24 weeks of age, came to the session of the Sejm without delay. It would seem that the freezer actually left the Marshal's office with a bang.
On 20 November, the Law and Justice adopted a resolution to the Parliament on the detention of changes to the Treaty on European Union and the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union. This task states that "the adoption of solutions removing the fundamental rule of unanimity in global law in future treaty changes would be straight contrary to Article 90 of the Polish Constitution and would let Poland to be bound by an global agreement without its consent, to circumvent constitutional ratification requirements and without any constitutional agreement of the Polish authorities". Applicants state that amendments to the Treaty on European Union "they deprive the Republic of Poland of the ability to make crucial decisions on its own in the areas of abroad policy, defence, border protection, safety (including energy security), home affairs, justice, social policy, economical policy, taxation policy and another areas applicable to the interests of the state". The conclusions of the draft resolution stated that "Accepting these proposals would violate the Constitution of the Republic of Poland, in peculiar by contrary to the rule of superior power of the nation, expressed in Article 4 of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland".
It would seem that this resolution, which deals with fundamental issues for the sovereignty and independency of Poland, will immediately be discussed by the Sejm. But that did not happen. Since, as the Marshal of the Holovnia declared, he is no longer in his freezer office, there must have been a heating failure in the Sejm. The draft resolution was thus naturally frozen, linked to fast cooling, which, contrary to the current global warming, affected central and east Poland in fresh days. Thanks to this confluence of events, the European Parliament was able to vote calmly, without the force associated with the resolution of the Polish Sejm, prepared by 4 German rapporteurs and, calling Polish patriots fascists, the Belgian Guy Verhofstadt, all treaty changes leading to the federalization of Europe.
Simon Holovnia, as a erstwhile seminarian, should be able to see that “hell is paved with good intentions”.
