"Chopin 44" is the first Polish national musical on the subject of Fryderyk Chopin's music. The content of the musical is the past of Poland seen by the prism of the past of a household that loves the music of Frederick Chopin and Poland. This musical household survives occupation, the Warsaw Uprising, the dreary times of communism in the 1950s and the Solidarity of the 1980s.
