Dramatic events in Professional School Complex No. 4 in Ostrołęka. A 19-year-old assailant stabbed students, teachers and outsiders. He besides had a backpack in which there was a homemade explosive device.
The incidental occurred on Wednesday around 11.05 p.m. According to the D.A.'s findings, a 19-year-old advanced school student entered a school with a dangerous tool and attacked people there. 5 students were injured, 2 teachers and 2 people were injured. The attacker fled the scene – the police stopped him a fewer minutes later close the city beach, about 400–500 metres from the facility.
The national prosecutor Dariusz Korneluk reported that in the backpack left by Jakub Z. at the school there was an explosive device of the home construction, which was secured by the service.
The victims of the attack went to hospitals in Ostrołęka and Lomża. According to their services, their lives are not in danger. The territory Attorney's Office in Ostrołęka initiated an investigation into attempted murder. The police besides confirmed that a 19-year-old boy had previously been listed for possession of drugs, but that investigation was discontinued. The perpetrator's motive remains the subject of investigation.
