On Saturday, May 17, 2025, a report-election gathering of the Bar Association was held in Warsaw. This year's event was hybrid – participants could participate both in the stationary, conference area of the Regent Hotel in Warsaw and remotely, thanks to live video on YouTube and the WZA24 app.
The assembly was opened by the Dean of ORA in Warsaw. The guests of honor were among others. Minister of Justice, lawyer GeneralDr. Adam Bodnar, president of the General Bar Council of Przemysław Rosati, as well as ministers, senators, MPs, representatives of state institutions, members of the NRA and ORA, professional self-governments, NGOs and global bar organisations.
By decision of the Minister of Justice adw. Mikołaj Pietrzak, Dean of ORA in Warsaw he received the Honorary Badge for Merit to Justice. It's a large honor and an honor for all of us.
The agenda of the Assembly included:
- reports on the activities of the bodies of the home during the 2021-2025 term,
- the occurrence of candidates applying for a seat in the bodies of the Bar Council,
- elections to the bodies of the Bar Association in Warsaw,
- voting on formal proposals and resolutions.
During the Assembly, the memory of colleagues who left the last home Assembly was celebrated.
The president of the ultimate Bar Council has given the honors of the “Deserved Advocacy” awarded by the Bureau of the Chief Bar Council to persons who are peculiarly well-deserved for the bar community.

During the Assembly, elections were held for the function of Dean, president of the Disciplinary Court, Disciplinary Ombudsman and president of the Audit Committee, as well as elections of members of the territory Bar Council in Warsaw, the Audit Committee, the Disciplinary Court and Delegates for the National Bar Convention.
For the first time in the past of the Bar Association in Warsaw, Dean ORA was taken over by a female – adw. Dr. Katarzyna Gajniczek-Pruszyńska.
This is simply a historical minute that coincided with the 100th anniversary of the acquisition of bar privileges by Helena Wiewiórska – the first lawyer in Poland. Symbolic continuity and fresh beginning to the House.

The event was met with a large interest of the Bar Association – besides thanks to accompanying initiatives specified as information campaigns, videos prepared by the Women's ellipse at ORA in Warsaw, and educational publications for the undecided.
