[The military everywhere Plastun-SN (where ‘SN’ is short for ‘Special Purpose’) was presented at last year's Army Fair](https://defence24.pl/war-on-Ukraine-report-special-defence24/new-Russian-everything-ru-dested-on-Ukraine). This militarized variant of the Amphibian Plastun vehicle, which in civilian version has a light fuselage made of aluminum. It has been presented so far in a reconnaissance variety (with a telescopic mast mounted topped with an electrooptic head) and infantry support with 82 mm mortar. At this year's edition of the fair, the Army 2024 visitors could see a fresh version intended for radio-electronic combat. The task of the vehicle is to interfere with communication between, among others, the drone and its operator. The OPD-712 “Tarcza” of the Protection strategy is utilized for this purpose. It allows detection of drones at a distance of 5 km and jamming up to 30 unmanneds at a distance of up to 3000 meters from the device.
