Today in the planet Army we discussed the Chechen armed formation serving Russia's side in the invasion of Ukraine. On February 26, Chechnya's politician and ally Vladimir Putin, Ramzan Kadyrov, confirmed that his Chechen troops were participating in the Russian invasion. According to the Ukrainian side, at the beginning of the invasion the Russians supported troops including the 141st Regiment of the motorized Chechen National defender unit, which was initially commanded by Magomet Tushaev.
