The allegations of breach of powers and failure to fulfil duties were announced by the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw by Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski. The erstwhile Minister of Agriculture and agrarian improvement is accused of bringing about the granting of bank and credit guarantees against the rules.
On Wednesday, Proc. Mateusz Martyniuk informed the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw about the announcement of the charges against Ardanowski. erstwhile Minister of Agriculture and agrarian improvement was announced allegations of overshooting powers and failing duties between September 2018 and July 2019 and between 1 August 2019 and 30 August 2019.
The Public Prosecutor's Office suspects that Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski, acting as Minister of Agriculture from 2018 to 2020, exceeded his powers and failed to fulfil his duties in order to get the property benefit.
According to investigators, Ardanowski, overseeing the National Centre for Agriculture Support (KOWR), ordered the granting of bank guarantees to E.S.A. and agreed to the same support for S.M.B. Both of these companies failed to repay the loans, which led to the mobilisation of the warrant and the creation of financial harm to the State Treasury.
Ardanowski rejects the allegations, calling them absurd and undermining its credibility as a policy.
