Although Apple's portfolio had a computer and tv in 1 – in the form of Macintosh TV, which turned out to be a full flop, 1 failure is seemingly not adequate for them... so just 2 years later, in 1995, they released the Apple Interactive tv Box. The thought was interesting and definitely ahead of its time – alternatively of jumping between channels – the viewer was to choose interesting content from the catalogue on demand, rent films or usage another integrated services specified as buying or banking... from the level of this box.
