Apple appeals against the European Commission's gigantic punishment

In April, the European Commission imposed a punishment of EUR 500 million on Apple for violating EU antitrust rules. On Monday, the last possible day, the company filed an appeal claiming that the Commission in its decision "passes far beyond legal requirements".
