It was Grzegorz Braun who gathered the largest cheers during the Confederacy Convention on 24 June. Despite the fact that he was expected to be “schedule” and to talk only 5 minutes – his speech caused the top enthusiasm of the gathered.
– The long road behind us and even longer opens this year, which will be mentioned as the year in which the breakthrough took place. A lot has happened and more will happen. (...) This is the Confederate period five. Each period abounded in the attractions which our opponents, enemies of Poland, enemies of freedom, normality and dignity of Poles gave us. They have given us various tensions and overloads, any of these tensions we have given ourselves. Only in the Confederacy is real cooperation possible without illusion, without fiction, without the delusion of large communion of souls, and yet we act practically and accomplish applicable results," said Grzegorz Braun.
– What are the results? First a straw, a stick, now a powerful stick to put in the spokes, in the modes of this device that gives us the means to deprive us of everything we request to live," added the MP. “Only in the Confederacy can we disagree so beautifully to triumph so beautifully, due to the fact that it is the time of our triumph – we were not expected to be at all,” Braun said, recalling media reactions to the Confederacy’s attachment.
– We were pushed under the threshold, in the mule. If this was referred to us only as figures utilized to scare polite readers of Gazeta Wyborcza and Gazeta Polska – Braun continued. We appreciate this occupation function very much and do not want to give it up," he added in the margins.
He besides said that “our children will not rise and tolerate deviants. And we will not have the Euro-Colochos Council of Commissioners explaining how to govern ourselves in our own country." He besides said: “Stop sanitary segregation. Get out of the WHO. halt the Ukrainianization of Poland. halt flaging Polish state reasonIt’s okay. ” After these words, any of the gathered stood up and applauded chanting the “Grzegor Braun”.
Part of the media, e.g. interia.pl suggested that Braun's speech did not satisfy Sławomir Mentzen and Krzysztof BoskBut it could be speculation without reflection in reality. Braun's popularity among a large part of the Confederate electorate to strengthen his position and must besides affect the policy of that grouping.
The main talker at the convention, Sławomir Mentzen, focused on economical issues:
– If we were at the PiS Convention or Platform today, you'd know that we're promising you a 1000+, 18th retirement, a toaster fee, a free bike credit, a turtle voucher or a farelka+ program. But we are at a convention of a serious organization that does not intend to bribe you with your money. Prosperity comes from work, savings and entrepreneurship, not debt, printing money and benefits. It's the inflation we're dealing with now. – Mentzen said.
With respect to the slogan "simple and low taxes", Mentzen recalled that in the early 1990s the taxation Act had 40-50 pages, then with each year the parties would arrive, and the top acceleration occurred behind the Laws. The Income taxation Act now has more than 500 pages.
“Polish taxation law is simply a dead body that cannot be powdered in any way. This must be discarded and offered a completely new, simple taxation law. There's nothing to put on, nothing to change. You gotta throw it in the trash and propose fresh laws. And we propose these fresh laws," Mentzen said, referring to the "Constitution of Freedom" programme. He proposed a completely fresh law on PIT and VAT, amendments to the CIT and ZUS laws. The another would be voluntary. He announced the elimination of many taxes and charges that affect the price of products or services. "And thus to the wealth of Poles and their purchasing power," Mentzen said.
