Lechia Gdańsk, the PKO Extraklasy buff, continues to strengthen its composition, which is an crucial decision on the way to stabilisation in the top-class gameplay. The club from Gdańsk, which since the beginning of the period focuses on crucial reinforcements, brings another player from Ukraine. This time Anton Tsarenko, the young offensive assistant of Dynamo Kiev, will join the team. This information was provided by writer Piotr Potępa, which has caused considerable interest in both Poland and Ukraine.
Anton Tsarenko: young talent from Kiev
Anton Tsarenko, born in 2004, only a fewer weeks ago celebrated his 20th birthday. Despite his early age and average physical conditions, the player made his debut in serious competitions. In the colours of Dynamo Kiev he played 18 games in Ukrainian extraclass, scoring 2 goals in them. His talent and method skills attracted the attention of the scouts Lechia Gdańsk, who is looking for creative solutions in the offensive.
Tsarenko is due to arrive in Gdańsk next Monday to undergo medical tests. If everything goes well, the young Ukrainian will be officially announced as Lechia's fresh player, thereby strengthening the team's increasingly global composition.
Low growth, large skills
One of the most conspicuous aspects of Tsarenko is its growth – it measures only 162 centimeters. This increase makes it the lowest player in Lechia Gdańsk, overtaking in this category Maxim Chłania, which is 170 cm tall. Moreover, Tsarenko will become 1 of the lowest footballers in the past of PKO Extraclass.
However, it is worth noting that low growth is not always an obstacle to football. Piotr Słonka, known on platform X (formerly Twitter) as “BuckarooBanzai”, emphasizes that Tsarenko stands out for his excellent method and speed. “Anton is simply a friend of mine and I can only compose well about him. Its only drawback is the growth – usually the kid who goes out with him is bigger than him. But technically and fluently cool. And it does not reflect at all from large defenders," commented Słońka, whose account is being tracked by over 123 1000 people.
Recorder in PKO Extraclasses's Kistory
Although Tsarenko will become the lowest player presently performing in PKO Extraclass, he will not be able to break the lowest player evidence in the past of these games. This title inactive belongs to Marcin Garuch, who played in Miedzia Legnica and measured only 154 cm. Garuch, despite his height, managed to execute in 1 game at the highest league level in Poland, which remains the exception to this day.
Ukrainian Cologne in Lechia Gdańsk
Anton Tsarenko will become the sixth Ukrainian in the squad of Lechia Gdańsk, which shows that this club powerfully focuses on Ukrainian players. They joined the squad earlier:
- Bohdan Sarnawskyj – goalkeeper
- Ivan Gelizko – midfielder
- Serhii Bułeca – midfielder
- Maximum Absorbed – wingman
- Bohdan Wjunnyk – the attacker
That's right. Everything will settle the beginning of next week, but it's practically settled. Anton is simply a friend of mine and I can only compose well about Nin. His only drawback is the growth - usually the kid who drives him out onto the lawn is bigger than him. But... https://t.co/MkNg3j1YE0
