After a April conference dedicated to Krzysztof Karoni on the first anniversary of his death, a group called “Antianyk kulturów” became active in social media. The intention is interesting, but the baby name and unfortunately the name is followed by akin content, more specifically: selection of content. It is sad to consolidate, due to the fact that it would seem that here we can deal with the reborn Polish elite – both patriotic and Catholic.
Anti-elitis
Instead of the longing elite, we have the "anti-cultural" superficiality of comments, their ad hocness and unproductive duplication of mainstream content (so much so that with a different directed worldview vector). It is nothing more than legitimizing the system, what is “anti”. The point is not to be posteristly opposed, to inactive and inactive complain and defend ourselves, but to attack, to do his (sic!) cultural work. In another words, you gotta leave the bad culture and go (drive!) forward – let them bark in their fairy tale with fecals.
Of course, I announcement "in this group" trying to show the alleged added value in culture, but this is usually information about books, copyright meetings and discussions. The only proposal that has appeared there, the only culturally creative, is the program "We inactive want to". The problem is that it is the only and even bigger that the "anti-anti" environment does not advance this. As a consequence of specified omissions, good cultural content does not scope the recipient and thus there is no social interaction. Culture made “to the drawer” will not change the Marxist world.
Recently, as part of a "mandatory" consequence to the news, the "antiant" have plunged into emotional imponderabilies to ban another March of independency in Warsaw. The soundness of this discussion, and consequently the activating of social emotions on an ad hoc substance ("Poland erstwhile in the year in your eye"), and very dubious erstwhile it comes to a prospective national interest, has caused me to compose this text. And I compose it, and due to the fact that everything above is symptomatic of the full environment, which politically defines itself in a contra to evil in culture.
Who's your Master?
The deficiency of a higher artistic culture in the politics of today's opposition (patriotic, conservative, national) is nothing but a "cultural illness to death" – the political death of the task to turn our country from left to right. This “left” took Gramsci's instructions very seriously; this “right” disregards (if not ignorantly) its apparent masters specified as the “Art and Nation” environment.
If you specify this with what is now and here, it is adequate to compare the power to advance the Nike Literary Prize with the powerlessness to advance the Józef Mackiewicz Literary Prize.
It is worth remembering that not everything is in the hands of “anticulture” and will never be. In fact, the institutions have won long ago and hold firm, which has not changed 8 years of regulation of the alleged united right. But the planet doesn't end with secretaries.
The second fact – the media service them (also from the alleged free world), but real changes never depended on service writers. And there's an net that the strategy can't handle. No wonder, then, that it is there, in this digital space that we can find what "first commune" was born on duplicators.
I remember all those elusive wires, many underground releases made on the last kind of paper. But 1 was always present in them: like not a separate page, it is at least a cultural corner (a poem, a song text, even a review of a performance played in a church crunch). I besides remember a cassette tape recorder Grundig, whose fortunate owners recorded not political meetings or speeches of “Solidarity” presidents, but organized without approval censorship of concerts of then bard-poets or cabaret performances of “Under Aegida”, “Tey” or Jack Federowicz. It is amazing how these tapes (about the tragic quality of sound) spread across the country and what affirmative work they did for the audience's awareness.
Works that don't shoot
Let us look at how we on today's "multipliers", or web portals, treat what we miss. And we miss freedom, don't we? Meanwhile, there is no freedom without wings, or culture, specified freedom will not go anywhere. I made a subjective review of what fits into the framework of combating the system, with this "anticulture". For apparent reasons, I do not callback here the editorial board of PCh24, with which I have worked for years, and where I print this text (I leave it to Readers). The order of the selected portals is rather random, and the reader may add something else. However, I think that would not change the view of the whole. Stop or send to Mars?
‘The revolution of anticulture must be stopped“ – so Deputy talker of the Sejm, Krzysztof Bosak, commented on the actions of Catherine Kotuli, head of not only the Orwellian Ministry for Equality. Stop? Is it the euphemism of the opposition parliamentarian from the Confederation of Freedom and Independence? It stops the car at a red light, but not the death civilization virus. If our “freedom” is to be limited to the picketing and protesting of further Bolsheviks by its very nature drafts of laws or subsequent prime minister in theatres converted to ideological barks, then we will barely be a fig leaf for liberal democracy which, until then, needs specified ornaments for a stupid electorate.
The exact same dimension has the formal consent to the March of independency this year, and in fact, it is besides for the time being. Moreover, the “March”, to which the authority “allowed”, will no longer be a march of “rebellious” but simply “other-thinking”, i.e. for a safe system. due to the fact that the democracy strategy is measured, and then most people decide everything, not those who are right, right? This agreement will have another strategy value – it will importantly reduce attendance.
Without culture, no march will scope Independence
The time of the uprisings had primarily its 3 Romantics-wiss, plus first of all the 4th – Norwid. There was no end to the artistic strength of that era. There was Chopin and Grottger, Malczewski and Moniuszko, Sienkiewicz and Konopnicka, and yet I cannot ignore the planet of theatre and specified characters as Fredro, like Wyspiański... Without them all, Poland would not last these 123 years.
And erstwhile it came to the First Man and Legion, the spiritual strength of these formations was created by painters, writers, poets, sculptors, musicians, actors... Many of them did their artistic work simply in uniform and with guns in hand. Joseph Piłsudski’s reflection even followed: “First of all, we were followed by the most beautiful in human culture by artIt’s okay. ” Let us remind: Kaden-Bandrowski, Zaruski, Gottlieb, Meal, Wodzinowski, Kossak, Strug, Strynkiewicz, Broniewski, Fr. And yet there were Paderewski, Dąbrowska, Żeromski... The commandant Piłsudski, speaking of the Legion's men, says that there “The soul of Poland was focused not only due to the fact that they were the personification of the thought of independence. besides due to the fact that their ranks included the actual elite of societyIt’s okay. ” Without them there would be no Poland after these 123 years.
In the time of double business – German and Soviet, assisted by Lithuanian anthroponism and baner Naziism – we threw not only our fate, but concrete people – artistic diamonds. The arms – figuratively and frequently the real 1 – were not put aside: Halina Krahelska and Zygmunt Rumel, Roman Brandstaetter and Jan Bielatowicz, Herling-Grudziński and Józef Czapski, Brandys, Gołubiew, Nałkowska, Kantor and Schiller, Parnicki and Baczyński, Obertyńska, Kossak-Szczucka, Józef Mackiewicz and Tadeusz Gajcy... And as Gajcy are besides his colleagues from the already mentioned group “Art and Nation”: Bronisław Onufry Kopczyński, Wacław Bojarski and Andrzej Trzebiński... They were all the real fruit of these 123 years, and at the same time the beginning of what gives a chance to last the next decades...
And what are we doing with that today? Who will we call our Polish artistic national guide Anna Domini 2024?
Who hides the light under the cork?
How many artistic pro-Polish initiatives I know, which III of Poland simply wasted. How many people injured by deficiency of knowing have hidden in their privacy or emigrated. any ruling leaders led to this due to the fact that that was their program, and others of simple folly and pride. The "right" presumptuousness of the last decades has mostly resulted in propaganda defeats of academic chants, specified as those under fresh Year's Eve Krokwa. It's like they've forgotten that he's not dealing with hell; it's like they believe that erstwhile they enter the system, they can change it. The concept of culture, this "fun" of the electorate, thus implemented by the "experts", will always end in defeat in confrontation with the perfect storm of the Hunwabins of the cultural revolution. It may well be that these others no longer decide in ministries, due to the fact that nothing harms the fact as packaging it in a paper “truth”.
As you can see and hear (and who can connect points, that and feel) – this suicidal trend is continued by the current political opposition. Even the 1 that's off-opposition. Marching 11 November on this year's slogan The March chose the title of the anthem of pre-war nationalists – “The large Polish Power is We” (taken from the poem by Jan Kasprowicz). If individual can, they can sing. If anyone truly wants to, they might.
The way of independency March is metaphorically fascinating: from the Roman Dmowski roundabout to the amusement and sports stadium, called the National... I wonder what the author would think about this:

A quote may be long, but it was worth quoting. These are the words of Roman Dmowski, and they come from his exceptionally professional political analysis from 1931, entitled “The Postwar planet and Poland”. Read these fewer sentences again...
