In 2015–2018, she was the Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Development. From 2018 to 2019 she held the office of Minister of Entrepreneurship and Technology in the first government of Mateusz Morawiecki. Then, between 2019 and 2020, she was Minister of improvement in the second cabinet of the Prime Minister. In 2020, she became vice president of the Council of Ministers, and since 2023 serves as State Secretary at the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy.
Emilewicz this year fought for a seat in territory 39 starting from 3rd place on the PiS list. She ran out of 2,000 votes to get the mandate.
