France has transferred an unspecified number of its 4x4 VAB armoured transporters to Ukraine, which are constantly engaged in war activities. Above all, allowing for a safer transport of infantry, compared to the situation if it were to take place in a civilian car or even an armored BRDM-2. However, during wartime activities, any of them are destroyed, which is besides immortalized on films and photographs.
