

"For the second time in 24 hours, we attacked in the northern part of the Red Sea an American aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman, utilizing many ballistic and maneuvering missiles as well as drones. The fight lasted for respective hours," said Huti spokesperson on Monday morning on social media.
The Americans conducted 2 raids on the port city of Al-Hudajda in Yemen, reported Al-Masirah tv related to Huti at night.
The United States has not commented on these reports so far.
Americans attack Huti targets in Yemen
On Saturday, the U.S. launched a fresh offensive against Huti, who control a large part of Yemen, and since autumn 2023 carried out more than 100 attacks on ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, disrupting transport through this key to the global economy of the maritime route.
According to Huti, at least 53 people were killed in Saturday raids, including civilians, and nearly 100 were injured. It was the largest U.S. military operation in the mediate East since Donald Trump again took office as president in January 2025.
The Huti announced on Sunday that in retaliation they attacked a rocket and drone an American aircraft carrier and associated ships. An anonymous Pentagon authoritative later told Reuters that American fighters shot down 11 Huti drones that did not approach USS Harry S. Truman.
Yemeni rebels are considered by the West to be a terrorist organization. The Huti stress that their raids are aimed at ships associated with Israel, and by attacking them they support Palestinian Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
