Angel Manuel Garcia Carmona: Anti-Christian Slavery in Spain? Prime Minister Sanchez wants to grow his power

The Spanish Prime Minister, Pedro Sanchez, does not intend to quit politically. Following a corruption scandal involving his wife, the head of the socialist organization suspended his word of office for respective days to decide on the next steps. However, the peculiar effects of this reflection are not visible – erstwhile Sanchez returns to function, he presents himself and Begonia Gomez as victims of the run of hatred of the far right. As the left-wing politician declares, he intends to launch a run for "democratic rebirth", which means trying to strengthen power and break the opposition, believes Angel Manuel Garcia Carmona.

Last week Sanchez published an open letter in which he announced a five-day "stop" during which he was to consider a possible resignation. The reason was corruption charges against his wife, Begonia Gomez. The right-wing organizations Manos Limpias and Hazte Oir filed a suit over suspected paid protection.

Gomez was to sign many letters of advice as part of its "fundraising" for certain companies. These papers were sent to six ministries (Finances, Education, Industry, Transport, Labour and Social Security), which allowed to rise € 15.6 million.

She besides managed a temporary association of companies that prepared false papers to increase the likelihood of a favourable contract with the government.

The controversy is besides surrounded by the department dealing with the "third sector" of the University of Complutense in Madrid. Begoña Gomez – since 2012 teaching at this university – importantly increased her position in 2019 erstwhile she became co-director of the Master's degree program, and in 2020, erstwhile a separate cathedral was created for her, sponsored by the insurance company Reale Seguros and the La Caix Foundation. Her promotion raised concerns about nepotism at the university, which is the academic fortress of the Spanish far left.

However, the Socialist Party, its media and political allies are trying to convince the public that the charges are the consequence of a "right-wing conspiracy". They propose that non-left journalists and politicians organize persecution of leftist politicians and their families. Last Saturday, they gathered socialist sympathizers at a demonstration on Madrid's Ferraz Street, where the PSOE office are located. Participants chanted during the event the slogan "No Pasaran" (They Won't Pass), utilized against the National Army during the Spanish civilian War. "International" was besides sung, even though it evokes an ideology that led to over 100 million deaths.

The Socialist organization has now organised an extraordinary support committee for the President. No 1 knew if he would actually step down. Now we know that he chose to stay, as he announced in a speech full of narcissistic and suffering words.

On Monday, Sanchez announced that he intended to carry out a "democratic revival". He showed no willingness to cooperate with the courts. His speech was without humility. So do we have any reason to anticipate dictatorship?

This is confirmed by the fact that behind the facade presented to the global press, there is simply a request to act as a victim of the "backright right", thus strengthening the request to grow its own control of the institutions...

What started with a prelude sympathetic with media socialists, indicating the request to control media that deviate from the "truth" and force on the control of judges will not think of the Socialist Party, has been synthesized in the euphemism of the "democratic revival".

An explanation of these actions, justified by artificially shed tears, is the alleged request to halt the “harassment” upon which Sanchez is created. But it doesn't take much political intelligence to avoid falling into this dialectic trap. A very worrying period is coming, from the Latin American regimes.

Let us remember that in November, participants of peaceful protests (against the government's planned amnesty for separatists) were attacked by pepper spray and beaten in the Madrid territory of Argüelles. At the same time, warnings and admonitions were directed towards circumstantial (opposition-friendly) editorial boards. This goes far beyond adapting public media to government discourse. There is an order in parliamentary press rooms to silence and not respond to conservative journalists recognized on social media and skillfully criticizing power.

Moreover, there are reasons to fear the emergence of anti-Catholic persecution. The government takes a large step towards the revolution, as prof. Plinio Correa de Oliveira described it. It combines the expansion of bureaucracy with “bogicide”, “pro-death” and relativism.

This postmodern dictatorship demands a study from the ombudsman, which will let the confiscation or expropriation of Catholic educational institutions (under the pretext of abuse).

This postmodern dictatorship insists on legal pursuit of those who peacefully pray in front of abortion centers, while their intention is to propitiate God's intervention, in order to support the pregnant parent and defend the unborn child.

This government devises an attack on the property of the Church under the pretext of equal imposition of cadastral tax.

This government wants to destruct the teaching of Christian religion from schools and effectively remove all spiritual symbols from state ceremonies, even though Catholicism is part of Spanish identity.

It is crucial to remember that during the already mentioned autumn demonstrations this spontaneous prayer of the Rosary at the Parish of the Immaculate Heart proved to be more problematic for them than waving flags and patriotic chants. We must so watch out for possible strategies for the persecution of the Spanish Church to force it to presume the function of an obedient tool of the communist revolution. This can besides happen to political opposition and another free voices – so we must be brave and take advantage of the opportunities offered by the Internet.
