An exhibition dedicated to residents of Gdańsk Pomerania serving in the army of the 3rd Reich was opened at the Palace Gallery of the Town Hall in Gdańsk. The exhibition entitled “Our Boys” caused an avalanche of reactions on social media. president Andrzej Duda spoke on Monday.
"There is no approval to relativize history! I am outraged to hear about the exhibition “Our Boys” at the Museum of Gdańsk. The presentation of the 3rd Reich soldiers as “ours” is not only historical lies, it is simply a moral provocation, even if the photographs of young men in Hitler's army uniforms depict forced-carrying Poles into the German army,” writes the president on platform X.
