Andrew Duda as fresh prime minister? The poll results may surprise

In August of this year, Andrzej Duda will cease to be president after serving for 2 full term. We already know the next head of state, but what about Duda himself? Like another erstwhile presidents, will he live off speeches at various conferences? Or is it just the beginning of his career? There are speculations in the media that the president could take on further advanced positions after the office was placed, the head of the government. In answering the questions of journalists, Duda himself stated that he would have considered taking this function if he had the opportunity. What do Poles think? Most are for them.

The United Surveys workshop conducted a poll commissioned by “Virtual Poland” in which she asked Poles if they would like to see the current president as Prime Minister in the future?

Of all respondents surveyed, only 28.4% would be satisfied with this scenario. However, most Poles think that it would be better if Andrzej Duda did not become head of government – 52.8 percent.

Analyzing in more detail, only 12% of respondents stated that they "agreedly agree" with the anticipation for the president to presume the function of Prime Minister in the future. 16.4 percent "preferably."

As many as 40 percent of respondents "agreementally disagrees" with Andrzej Duda in the seat of the president of the Council of Ministers, 16.4% "rather" disagrees.

18.8% of respondents could not answer the question asked. They chose the answer "I don't know/hard to say".

The biggest number of supporters of the government's leadership by Duda is among the voters of PiS and Confederacy – a full of 49 percent responded positively and 29 percent negatively.

Among the voters of the Citizens' Coalition, 3rd Way and Left as much as 82% would not like to see Duda as Prime Minister. Only 9% of the supporters of these groups are opposed.
