There is no request to convince anyone that Andrzej Duda is simply a large lover of skiing. During his presidency, the politician repeatedly appeared on Polish slopes to indulge in white madness. It was no different on Sunday, January 19.
In the morning, the head of state appeared on Polana Szymoshkova, where charity competitions in alpine skiing are held 12h Slalom Maraton Zakopane 2025. Andrzej Duda will besides participate in the competition.
Dressed in a ski suit, Andrzej Duda made a brief statement. The politician did not hide his joy from his presence at the ski competition. – Thank you for this invitation, and I must admit that I am very happy to be able to complete in this last year my presidential service what I erstwhile accepted as a large pleasure, but besides the work to be here with you and my passion for alpine skiing, to stress besides through the support of the Handicap Zakopane Foundation," said the President.
Andrzej Duda pointed out that participation in the competition was already his individual tradition. “I look peculiarly at children and young people, due to the fact that I have met many faces here from the very beginning. any have already grown beards over the years – the president was joking. - 10 years is simply a long time. Thank you for all the warmth, for all the smiles and for always welcoming me. I hope that even if I am not president, we will proceed to meet here," he said.
Participation in ski competition is not the end of the sports emotions that Andrzej Duda is waiting for today. From 16 o'clock, the president will support Polish ski jumpers during the PŚ competition on the large Krokwi.
