President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenski appointed a fresh boss General Staff of Armed Forces of Ukraine Andrija Hnatov informed the General Staff.
Hnatov has served as Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine so far. He succeeded Major General Anatoli Barhylewycz in his fresh post.

In late January, Hnatow was appointed Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was previously Chief of Staff – Deputy Commander of Operations Command ‘South’. Since the spring of 2023, he has been in command of Bachmut's defence, reported Unionans.
